I have been reliving this experience for a year now, and I have tried many techniques to have the right word at the right time. Apart from really talking a lot and - really important - with to a lot of people, I made a list in my favourite language app LEO. This list is a good way to keep track of words you should know, but why not make posters with this list ?
Thanks to the Covid-19 quarantine I had a lot of time and made the first three ! You will find the French word in large letters in « HGB Akzidenz Vertikal » and the German translation in « Versailles LT Com ».
